Mt. Ama Dablam Expedition (6,812m)
Mt Ama Dablam is one of the most beautiful mountains in the Everest region of Nepal. The normal climbing route is from South and west ridge. The height of this peak is 6,812 m but it is considered as one of the most technical and difficult to climb.
There are three High camp and to reach from base camp to the first camp the climber have to make their way through the difficult ridges after turning north climb up through the rocky ground and boulder reach camp 1.
For Camp 2 the climber need to cross rocky section and use fixed rope to get close to camp 2 and rocks and ridges take you to final camp 2.
For Camp 3 the climber need to go through the steep mixed of rock, snow, icy section and climb via rope to snow ground. Slowly walk through the passes snow and ice which take us to Final Camp 3.
Summit day is slightly steep climb on snow, ice with huge hanging glacier and finally reach summit where views of Mt Everest, Lhotse, Island peak, Makalu and many more mountains peaks make your dream comes true.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to hotel 1,350m with B/B plan.
Day 2: Preparation day.
Day 3: Fly Lukla and trek to Phakding 2,610m/ 4hrs walk.
Day 4: Trek to Namche bazaar 3,440m/ 7 hrs walk.
Day 5: Acclimatization day (Visit Sherpa museum/ Everest View point/walk up to Khumjung village and return to Namche bazaar and relax).
Day 6: Trek to Debuche 3,828m/ 8 hrs walk.
Day 7: Trek to Dingbuche 4,410m 5/6 hrs walk.
Day 8: Trek to Labuche 4,940m 7 hrs walk.
Day 9: Trek to Gorakshep 5,150m same day Visit Everest Base camp 5,365m and return to Gorakshep.
Day 10: Climb Kalapathar 5,550m and return to Pheriche.
Day 11: Trek to Ama Dablam base camp.
Day 12-25: Climbing period.
Day 26: Return to Namche bazaar.
Day 27: Return to Lukla.
Day 28: Fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 29: Rest some sightseeing plan.
Day 30: Final Departure
Note:
If the clients wish to make a little changes in their itinerary they can choose, 2 passes trek, Everest base camp together and climb Ama Dablam. This second itinerary will provide you an opportunity to Visit Thame monastery which is 400 years old, Cross Ranjola pass 5,485m, Observe Gokyo Lakes and Ngo Jumba glacier, Cross Cho La Pass 5,420m, visit Everest base Camp and climb Mt. Ama dablam.
